For me, this one was personal. As a lifelong Pistons fan who grew up on the Bad Boys and the “Goin’ to Work” championship teams, helping reestablish what this franchise means to Detroit was a dream brief. And with the team finally returning to play in the city after years away, we made that homecoming the story. Our idea: take the Pistons’ iconic rallying cry, “Deeetroit Basketball,” and turn it into a citywide takeover, reconnecting the team with its fans and its home.
